When I was approached about editing video, I didn’t know I would enjoy it so much. I have come to the conclusion that I like editing because it is just a moving version graphic design. It is yet another vehicle to deliver a message to your target audience. Videos can be used to promote many different types of subject matter. At the Wellness Center/Health and Wellness Unit, we have used it to promote specialty exercise classes, to spread the word about Tobacco-Free UND, to highlight each staff area of the Wellness Center at internal events, flu vaccinations and many more.
The Health and Wellness Marketing Department produces a weekly Health and Wellness internal update called "The Weekly Update." Its purpose is to inform employees about all that is happening in the upcoming week. All those video are done in a quick turn around. The footage is shot using Kodak Flipcam, type and lettering is created in Live Type and editting done using Final Cut Express.

Night Life @ UND
This Night Life @ UND video was created to help spread the word about this program that promotes free non-alcoholic late-night activities. From the words of those who attend, the viewer hears what kind of activities that are offered and the perks of attending these safe weekend events.

Mobile Vaccine Team
The Mobile Vaccine Team was a campaign put together to help promote flu vaccination clinics in Fall of 2011. The Charlie’s Angels-ish type theme was the inspiration for the whole campaign. The campaign consisted of this video, posters, banners, fliers, and table tents. View the whole campaign.
