About Me

I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design and New Art Media August of 2009.

My art exhibition ‘Intimacy [into me see]’ was displayed in the Col. Eugene E. Myers Gallery on the campus of UND in April 2009. In this collection of works, I combined graphic design with techniques of fiber arts. All the pieces in this collection were created using some form of a weaving technique. I have also worked as a graphic designer for the Col. Eugene E. Myers Gallery and the Wellness Center on the UND campus. My involvement in the arts has also included music and theatre performance.

Being positive, hard working, and self-motivated are some of my personal strengths. I work together with clients to utilize their ideas to achieve the most effective design while maintaining branding regulations and a creative style. I create and oversee the creation of marketing & promotional material to publicize events taking place within UND’s Health & Wellness Unit. I am experienced at designing and composing layouts in print and multi-media formats. I have the ability to coordinate multiple projects at a time, clearly communicate my ideas and work well under pressure. Prioritizing workloads, meeting deadlines and project qualifications in a timely and knowledgeable manner are important goals of mine. I am punctual and aware that time, both mine and the client’s, is an important commodity. I am able to quickly learn new programs, software, and processes. I use the programs and equipment that are available to me effectively and efficiently. On a daily basis, I work with Adobe CS3 InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. I also work with Dreamweaver, Final Cut Express, HTML, database-driven and ADA Compliant web sites. I am skilled at working with the Microsoft Suite including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
