About Me

I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design and New Art Media August of 2009.

My art exhibition ‘Intimacy [into me see]’ was displayed in the Col. Eugene E. Myers Gallery on the campus of UND in April 2009. In this collection of works, I combined graphic design with techniques of fiber arts. All the pieces in this collection were created using some form of a weaving technique. I have also worked as a graphic designer for the Col. Eugene E. Myers Gallery and the Wellness Center on the UND campus. My involvement in the arts has also included music and theatre performance.

Being positive, hard working, and selfmotivated are some of my personal strengths. I am organized and able to carry through marketing campaigns. I work well with clients and utilize their ideas to achieve the most effective design. I incorporate a creative style when approaching projects. Putting together presentations and being a responsible representative at events are skills I posses. In my current position, I create advertisements and promotional graphics to publicize events taking place within the Health & Wellness Unit at UND. I have experience designing graphics for web sites, logos, brochures, posters and many other multi-media and print material. I am confident in my photography and photo editing skills. I have the ability to multitask and clearly communicate my ideas. Reaching deadlines and project qualifications in a timely and knowledgeable manner are important goals of mine. I am punctual and aware that time, both mine and the client’s, is an important commodity. I am able to quickly learn about new programs, software, and processes. On a daily basis, I work with Adobe CS3 InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. I have also worked with Dreamweaver, Flash, Final Cut Express and HTML. I am skilled at working with the Microsoft Suite including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
